The U.S. used to be a very rich and vibrant country, with booming trade surpluses a strong currency and low unemployment. It is now a debtor nation . For the past years, we never heard of any financial problems about the country. This is the country that is always available for help by other countries. People named the the country as "The Big Apple"... for opportunities are many, sad to say that this giant country is experiencing such huge problems. Before this crisis happen the US is still on it's peak of success, why is this happening?

I believe that the President plays the major role for the countries success. As I watch and hear news about Obama's solution, He said that he needs a drastic action to prevent the economic situation worsening, he urge the congress to act quickly about his preventive plan. I really admire this guy because he's not yet on the position yet he has this preventive strategy. As he starts his term, He said that the first thing he would do is to to make the biggest investment in the country's infrastructure. He proposes a countrywide road- and bridge-building programme, as well as nationwide schemes to refurbish public buildings and schools, bring them up-to-date and make them energy-efficient. By investing in projects that are already in the works. Mr Obama hopes to inject cash into the system quickly, create jobs and trigger consumer spending. He also pledged to reduce insurance costs, while offering new affordable public plan for those who doesn't have insurance.
